About Brad

Brad is a founding member and original guitarist in the chart-topping band Night Ranger, having launched the rocking AOR band to many top charting singles (Sister Christian, Rock In America, Don’t Tell Me You Love Me, When You Close Your Eyes) with multi-platinum record sales reaching over 18 million worldwide. Night Ranger has performed over 4,000 worldwide live shows to date.

Brad's Story

After the tragic death of guitarist Randy Rhoads in early 1982, Brad was enlisted to complete the Diary of a Madman world tour with Ozzy Osbourne, leading to the platinum selling live-recorded album, Speak of the Devil, featuring all Black Sabbath material.

Brad has earned over 20 Gold and Platinum records and has graced dozens of worldwide magazine covers, including Vintage Guitar, Guitar World, Guitar Player, and Guitar for the Practicing Musician. He’s appeared on MTV, VH1, American Bandstand, Solid Gold, Rock & Roll Tonight, Cal Jam II, The Bachelor Pad, AXS TV, Guitar Hero, Rockband, Grand Theft Auto, NASCAR and Prime Time National Anthems. With his TV & Film music placement, he has created over 400 tracks for ESPN, Monday Night Football, Fox Sports, Tiger Woods Playstation, EA Sports, The Price Is Right, ABC Collage Sports and other popular TV shows and movies.

Brad has two solo CDs, Alligator and Gilrock Ranch, which featured vocalist Gregg Allman performing the top 20 Billboard hit song, “Honest To God“.

Brad’s solo and Night Ranger songs have been featured in movies (Rock of Ages, Out of the Blue, Boogie Nights, Sixteen Candles, Friday the 13th, The Secret of My Success, Explorers, Teachers and many more) as well as the Broadway production of Rock of Ages.

Brad has achieved worldwide notoriety for his innovative use of the guitar’s tremolo/whammy bar.
